He was from St-Omer-de-Roasieres de Santerre, ar. Montdidier, ev. Amiens,
Picardy (now Somme), France. He was said to be 72 years at his death. He said
he was 25 in 1667 and in Charlesbourg, working as a farmer on the sieur Auger.
He answered that he was 35 in 1681 at Montmagny.

HE was a weaver by trade, and became a farmer later at the Manor of hi
father-in-law and then established at Pointe-a-Caille, and also at
