She was not the Anne Martin, dau. of Abraham Martin. She was from France
however. She was said to be 80 at her death. Andwered that she was 62 in 1666,
64 in 1667 at Beauport. She was cited as living in Quebec 18 JUL 1635.

!ORIGIN-COMMENT: Source of this information; "History of Hampton, NH", by Dow,
It is said that this William Seavey, sent from England in 1631 to the
Piscataquqa settlement by Capt. John Mason. He was a selectman and otherwise of
some consequence in the settlement. In 1660, he was William the Elder.
