!COMMENT: Abraham and wife first moved to Stillwater, Sussex Co., NJ, then to
Nothumberland, Co. PA. Settling at Fishing Creek in which was later to become
known as Columbia Co., and was living there with brother James at the time of
the American Revolution.
Then they moved to Steuben Co. NY. It is posible that he may have been born in
Wilkes-Barre, Luzerne Co., PA rather than in NY, as some of the other sources
suggest. They paid .25 cents and acre for their land in Pleasant Valley, got
from Holland Land Co. Served in War of 1812, called Captain after that.
