!COMMENT: Like his father before him, he had the title; Louis-Joseph Lambert,
sieur de Sainte-Marie. Of his 19 children only three married. Most
of the others died at early ages.

!MILITARY-SOURCE: He was a commander and Colonely of the Cote du
Sud. In 1734 he was the first captain from the parish of Saine-Joseph de Levis
in the royal domain of Lauzon and commander of the Rive du sud, which was over
the whole territory under the jurisdiction of the Government of Quebec.
