He was of; St-Leu-et-St-Gilles, v. et archev. Paris, France. He was said to be
70 years at his death. He answered that he was 44 at the 1666 recording, 49 at
the 1667 recording, and 60 at the recording of 1681 and living at Quebec.
Sculpture, from a family of sculptures. Filed marriage contract with
LeCat-notary at Chateau de Paris. He and his brother Pierre were noted for
their Religeous artwork and church carvings. They also carved figures for ships
and statues.
