He died sometime between 25 MAR 1698 and 31 MAY 1700. He was 30 in 1666, 32
in 1667 in Montreal working as a servant for Mathurin Langevin. He was 40 in
1681 at Vercheres. He received a concession of part of the seigneury of Vitre
now Bellevue from Pierre Boisseau 15 MAR 1678.

He was baptised in Normandel, canton Tourouvre, ar. Mortagne, ev. Chartres,
Perche (now part of Orne), in France. He was the half brother of Louise who
married Rene LeTarte, and cousin of Aubin Lambert. At the recording of 1666,
and 1667 he was at Beaupre, and in 1681, was in Chateau-Richer, he was a
miller for Noel Juchereau. He married at St. Pierre de la Poiterie, in
Mortagne, France.

Jette, lists his name as "Jean Juchereau, sieur de More". He was a wealthy
merchant of Tourouvre, FR n the 16th Century. His second wife was the grand
daughter of Nicolas Pineau. She was the daughter of Jehan Pineau (Lord of
Launay) and Loyse Clousier. He was from Perche (now Orne). He was one of the
earliest to arrive in Quebec at 1634. He was a fur trader at La Ferte-Vidame.
