His name was either "Perrault" or "Perrot". He was from Darcey, ar. Montbard,
ev. Autun, Bourgogne (now cote-d'Or), France. HE was 74 years old at his death.
He answered that he was 22 at the 1666 recording, and living in Montreal, as a
domestic servant for Jacques Testard. He answered that he was 26 in 1667, and
in Montreal and a domestique for Sulpiciens. He answered that he was 37 in 1681
and at Becancour. He left for the parts West (fur trading?) on 14 MAY 1688 or
21 AUG 1691, and was an interpretor working for the Jesuits 1660-1663, in
Sulpiciens 1666-1667. Commander 1683-1695 of the Baie-des-Puants for the
Pays-d'en-haut. Captain of the militia 1690 at Becancour, author of "Memoires
sur les Sauvages de l'Amerique Septentrionnale", published in 1864 at Paris.
