1892" by Joseph Dow, Volumes 1 & 2, Page 783.
Came to America with wife Julien or Gillyen, lived several years in Boston, in
1660 moved to Hampton. He was a cooper by trade. Story has it that his wife
received for a marriage dowry a scale, containing her weight (112 lbs) in gold
and the chest which held the treasure is still preserved, being now owned by
the children of the later Morris Lamprey, Esq. , of St. Paul, Minn.
