Aunis (now Charente-Maritime), France. He was said to be 84 at his death. He
said he was 62 in 1667 and 77 in 1681 living in Montreal. He was married at
St-Philibert du Pont-Charrault, Poitou, France.

He arrived in 1645 with his wife and six of their children. He settled on a
