Boston. He was also director of the Eastern R.R. and of the Atlantic Bank, and
Treasurer of the Massachusetts Anti-Slavery Society, and was much
esteeemed for his "rare integrity and sound judgement". About 1822 they
withdrew from the Society of Friends.
