France. He answered that he was 44 in 1681 and in Berthier, and 48 in 1686. He
converted to Calvinism at Quebec on 6 SEP 1670. Calvinism was a system of
doctrines developed by John Calvin, emphasizing the depravity and helplessness
of man, the Sovereignty of God, and predestination, and characterized by an
austere moral code. He was said to be 60 at his death.
