He was a deacon, a selectman of Hampton for five years, and in 1693 a

Now Seabrook, remained in the possession of his posterity for 240 years.
Died at the age of 76 on Nov 24, 1700.
Bought 6 acres from WIlliam Sanborn, May 17 1647 with building
there-on, and several other tracts of land, and on Oct 11, 1651, conveyed
the same to his father Thomas Philbrick, Sen. who retained it through
life. It has never since been alienated; and at the time History of
Hampton was written, this land was in the possession of John A.
Philbrick, the 8th generation. The deed bounded it westerly, by William
Fifield (now heirs of Alfred J. Leavitt); easterly, by John Brown (now
Zaccheus Brown). After the transaction to his father Thomas Jr. removed
to Seabrook, NH. Source of information; "History of Hampton, NH", by Dow.
