!COMMENT: Shirley was a legal secretary in Hampton after arriving in New
Hampshire, and then after completing a degree in Political Science at
University of NH, she started a sucessful Real Estate business.
After losing her beloved husband Herb (8/16/93), she moved with her daughter
Dawn and her family to Northern Virginia to build a new home in 1994. She
continued working in Real Estate, Interior Decorating, writing, and running a
non-profit educational organization.

!DEATH: She died very unexpectedly in her home in Waterford on June 21, 1997 of
cardiac arrest.

!BURIAL: She was buried at the Philbrick family plot in Rye Central Cemetery
next to her husband Herb.
