William Eastow was made Freeman, 13 DEC 1638. He was one of the grantees and
first settlers of Hampton; had ten acresfor a house lot, lying between William
Palmer's on the east and William Moulton's on the west, and the Meeting-house
Green on the south. The lot included the present house lots of Horace Hobbs,
and Mrs. Mary A. Palmer. Goodman Eastow's wife probably died sometime before
he came to Hampton, NH. He was a Hampton rep. for 3 years.
