He filed marriage contract with notary - Audouart on 5 Nov., 1651 in Quebec. He
died sometime between 26 Oct., 1672 and 24 NOV 1679 at Chateau-Richer. He was
listed in the recording of 1667 as being 55 years and living at Beaupre. He was
there in 1665 and 1672 as a sergeant, bailiff and surgeon (barber?).

31. He was a doctor, born about 1626 who originated from Picardie, France. Son
of Claude and Marie Fremon. He arrived at Quebec in the middle of the
seventeenth century, and on 20 November, 1651 married the charming Marguerite
Benard, born 1631.

!COMMENT: Most of the information on this person comes from Portsmouth Records,
NH census records. It should be noted that there was a John H. Hoyt listed in
the 1840 census, who made his home in Candia, Rockingham Co., and this may
be the same person, perhaps hecame in from the west, like NY state?

the Hoyt, John, father of Carrie E. HOYT, was born in Boston, MA. Census,
Portsmouth, NH, 1850 & 1860 shows that he was born in NH, however.

John Henry lived at a house on 5 Blossom in Portsmouth, and his occupation was
listed each time as Laborer. He was also living at Mount Vernon Street, in
Portsmouth, NHin the PORTSMOUTH NH, DIRECTORY of 1869.

!COMMENT: Source - Joe and Betty Hoyt. 6063 Southern Oaks Drive, SE, Winter
Haven, FL 33884-2749. They acquired much of their information from the memory
of their cousin Louise Hurley Parker age about 95 yrs. in 1995. They also
received information on the Anderson Lineage from Roger DeCourcey who provided
charts. On several of these charts it lists the father of our John Henry HOTY
as John Hoyt of Portsmouth, but further information was not available, and they
have not been abot to locate him in a search of Portsmouth records, the Hoyt
genealogy by David W. Hoyt publ. 1871 or in the Hoyt Issue for the last three
years.

Portsmouth, NH-VR, City Annual Report for 1894, Death Records, shows the HOYT,
John Henry, and ANDERSON, Ann E. were the parents of Carrie E. Morgan. Married
ANDERSON, Ann E., 29 Oct 1843 (Sonday evening) Portsmouth, Rockingham, NH by
Rev. Mr. Kilton, ministerof the predecessor of the Central Baptist Church.
They had at least 9 children, most of them born in Portsmouth, NH.

but in 1871, Ann E. Hoyt, is listed as a widow head of the household.

at Raytheon Corp,. in Andover, MA.
