At the recording of 1681 he was 55 years in Gentilly. He filed contract with
Notary - Bancheron there on 19 Aug. 1647. He answered that he was 45 at the
1666 recording, and was said to be 60 years old at his death.

!BAPTISM-CONFLICT: Some records show St-Etienne-Lauzon, Levis, PQ, Canada
to be the place of his baptism, and this seems to be confirmed in the
census of 1920 at least in part, since it says he was naturalized in 1890
and born in Canada. Family however, claims he was born in the US.

!EMMIGRATION-NATURALIZATION: 1890, according to the 1920 census, which
showed Louis to be living at 648 First Ave, in Berlin, NH

!COMMENT: His first three children were born in Biddeford in ME. Went to
work in the paper mill after the WWI in Gorham and settled in Berlin, NH,
and that's where Robert and Pauline were born. The 1920 Census showed
this family living at 648 First Ave, in Berlin, NH. Louis-33 yrs,
Florenda-27 yrs, Paula-6 yrs, Romeo-5 yrs, Robert-6 mo. Louis left the
family and dissapeared sometime in the 1920's. He was with the family
as late as 1925, but may have left in 1926 or 1927. He was familiar with
Boston area since he grew up there, and reportedly was living in MA
somewhere.

!DEATH: Probably somewhere in CT. He was known to have lived somewhere in
the town of either New Haven or New London, CT. Date of death is not known. His
resting place is not known, and of great interest to this researcher.

des Familles du Quebec", University of Montreal, Page 672. He was probably from
Normandie, that's where his parents were from. He died in the Hospital of
Quebec City, according to the inventorie of 23 Feb. 1667 by Vachon. He answered
that he was 29 at the 1666 and 1667 recordings, at the Isle d'Orleans. He was
confirmed at Chateau-Richer 2 Mar 1660.

He was said to be 50 at his death. He said he was 20 in 1666, 19 in 1667, 35
in 1681 and living at the Isle Orleans. He was confirmed at Quebec 23 MAR 1664
at the age of 18. Also cited at Hotel-Dieu, Quebec, QP on 1 JUN 1689 at the
age of 42, and 12 JUL 1693 at 54 and 5 MAR 1695 at 55 years.
