!BIRTH: She was born in Portmouth, NH at the City Hospital. This from
the recollection of Judy, her daughter.
[21]
!COMMENT: She grew up in South End of Portsmouth, in the Puddle Dosk area.
She saw the neighborhood torn apart at the construction of Strawberry
Banke Historical Society. It was a poor neighborhood at the time and after
her divorce from Raymond, continued living there. She worked most of her
life at Clarostat an electronics firm, (which formerly occupied one of the old
mill buildings on the River in the center of town
the river) in Dover NH. She may have been born in the Tobias Lear house, when it
was just apartment flats. Now one of Portsmouth's most historic buildings.
[22]
!DEATH: She passed away at the home of her daughter Judy and son-in-law Rex
Lambert, after a long illness, at 6 Pine Road, in North Hampton, NH, where
she had been staying following her stroke. She passed in 1984.
[23]
!BURIAL: She is buried in the South Cemetary in Portmsouth next to her
mother and father, and overlooking a small pond.
